Rehearsal Dinner:

Also, please let us know if you'd rather have vegetarian lasagna or baked haddock

If you're going to be in the Camden area on the Friday before the wedding (August 8th), please join us for a pre-wedding day dinner aboard the MV Monhegan, which sails from Rockland. The dinner begins at 7:00 PM, and it is on board a ship that will be at sea, so don't be late! Bring a sweater, lest the chill of the open ocean gets you.

The MV Monhegan (not to be confused with the Monhegan ferry) sails from Rockland, which is a few miles south of Camden.
1. U.S. Highway #1 from the north (Camden, Rockport, and Belfast)
2. U.S. Highway #1 from the South (Brunswick, Bath, and Waldboro)
3. Maine Highway #17 from Gardiner/Augusta, which joins U.S. #1 southbound in the northern section of Rockland.
U.S. #1 from the south comes into south Rockland from the west, on Park Street.

U.S. #1 from the north comes south through Rockland on Union Street, until it hits Park Street (where the southbound highway itself turns right.

The Monhegan dock is near where Park Street hits the water, so people coming from the north will want to turn left at Park Street, while people coming from the south will want to continue eastward on Park street and not turn left on Main Street, where U.S. #1 continues northward.

About a block east on Park Street from this point, across from the Trade Winds Motor Inn, turn right onto Police Plaza. The Mohegan and a generous parking area will be on your left.

On the map below, the red target indicates the location of the rehearsal dinner. Note that it is NOT the ferry dock that is to the north.

Brunch:

RSVP via email: Juliet_Baker@ParkSchool.org
Or by phone: 207-338-4228

You are also invited to come to an informal oceanside brunch at 10:00 AM the morning after the wedding day (August 10th) in Northport at the home of Juliet Baker and Paul Mazur. Bring swimsuits if you'd like, the beach is right in front and the water is lovely this time of year.

Directions From the Lord Camden Inn, Camden, ME to Shore Road, Northport is approximately 10.7 miles. Before you reach the slight turn onto Shore Road/ Tanner Lane (same road and both names most likely unmarked), you will pass on your right the Northport Diner, on your left, the Northport Motel. Rt. 1 will curve to the left; Shore Road will be a much smaller road that makes a Y intersection with Rt. 1 and proceeds straight ahead. Go straight on to Shore Road/ Tanner Lane; do not curve left with Rt. 1. Proceed 3.1 miles along Shore Road through Saturday Cove and Temple Heights until you reach 681, at the bottom of a large cove (Kelly's Cove). The mail box (681, Baker/Mazur) will be on your right; the house, a large, white one slightly up the hill, will be on your left. Parking information will be available later.

If you miss the turn onto Shore/Tanner Lane, you can turn a sharp right onto Cove Rd. .2 miles farther along Rt. 1. Take your first left (stop sign) and you will be on Shore Rd.
